   Triple Double Bonus
Speaking of generous pays, this version pays the same whopping 4000 coins for quad Aces with a specific fifth card as a 4000 coin Royal Flush.

However, there is a penalty (you knew this was coming); in that, three-of-a-kind is reduced 5 coins to a max coin return of only 10. Of course, straights and flushes are similarly decreased.

I have re-arranged the pay table below moving the straight flush up to allow readers to view the various top awards for Triple Double Bonus play.

The table below illustrates the payout for specific winning hands, one coin return payout and maximum coin return payout.

Pays – Triple Double Bonus 9/5 one-coin return max. coin return
Pair--Jacks or Better returns the bet 5 coins
Two pair (2 PR) returns the bet 5 coins
Three-of-a-kind (3/kind) pays 2-1 10 coins
Straight (ST) (sequence, not same suit) pays 4-1 20 coins
Flush (FL) (non-sequential, same suit) pays 5-1 25 coins
Full house (FH) (3 of a kind and a pair) pays 9-1 45 coins
Four-of-a-kind (quad) fives to kings pays 50-1 250 coins
Straight flush (SF) (in sequence, same suit) pays 50-1 250 coins
Four-of-a-kind (quad) 2’s, 3’s or 4’s. pays 80-1 400 coins
Four Aces pays 160-1 800 coins
Four-of-a-kind 2’s, 3’s, 4’s with A-4 pays 400-1 2000 coins
Four Aces with 2, 3, or 4 pays 800-1 4000 coins
Royal flush (RF) (except with max. coins) pays 250-1 4000 coins

The average return for Triple Double Bonus is 97.02%

This percentage is maintained with maximum coins per hand at a ‘full-pay’ machine with perfect strategy.

Strategy: Aces with a particular fifth card and as always, a Royal is the goal here, so the strategy is to hold the ace only when dealt with other high cards (Jacks+) not suited.

- If dealt a suited ace and face, then you will hold both.

- Not only is there the reduced pay of 10 coins for 3-of-a-kind, but the overall return for this game is a lowly 97.02%.

- I suggest this version be played only with winnings from other VP games with better returns.

I know how difficult it is to pass on the generous top pays here, however, you should always be mindful of our gambling bankroll.

Playing Tips: Practice at home is mandatory. Since I started using VP software or a hand-held game, my strategy knowledge has increased immensely to the point that I can easily change VP models with confidence.

I take a few minutes to focus when changing from Bonus machines to Deuces or Jokers Wild but the increased knowledge makes you a true student of the game.

Until we meet again to continue your VP education, may all your VP choices turn out to be ‘royalty’.
