All serious and knowledgeable VP players come to Las Vegas where the largest inventory and top, full-pay VP schedules reside, particularly at the locals’ casinos.
I also note the better Reno and Laughlin casinos for VP profits.
Las Vegas
I suggest you visit most or all of these properties where the locals play, generally off the strip. The following casinos are grouped by areas. My personal favorite, Fiesta is at the top.

16) Green Valley Station Ranch - Henderson
17) Sunset Station – near Henderson

Other Us Casinos
The selection of full-pay VP is very slim outside of Nevada. You will find 9/6 Jacks+, but not in large numbers and mostly in dollar+ denominations.
Consider yourself very lucky if you location quarter full-pay VP. Additionally, 10/7 Double Bonus VP is all but invisible.
That said, here is a quick overview of the three largest US casino areas.
Atlantic City : Sands, Showboat and Tropicana. There are now 13 casinos with the opening of Borgata. The GameMakers have some 9/6 VP choices, but also 8/5’s. Unfortunately, most offerings are 7/5’s short pay that would be left idle in Vegas by an experienced VP player.
Mississippi : Best Regions: *South, Coastal and North Regions.
*MS is divided into regions: South= Vicksburg, Natchez & Greenville. Coastal= Biloxi, Gulfport & Bay St. Louis. North=Tunica--Robinsonville and Lula.
Mississippi reports by region only and not by specific casinos, however, in the Gulf area, the Grand Gulfport has become the ‘locals’ casino and Grand Biloxi, a tourist resort. You know what I always say, “Go where the locals play”.
California : There are now more than 50 casinos, mostly in Southern CA. As with most tribal casinos, VP’s are mainly the short-pay variety.
Note: Not all casinos are regulated to insure that video poker electronic machines are churning out random outcomes for each hand dealt.
Cruise ships in international waters, and some Indian casinos are not necessarily regulated.
Lastly, some good news from the internet. Online Video Poker offers two great opportunities for players—a large selection, the majority of which are ‘full-pay’ schedules.
