   Bonus Deluxe VP
This version includes one of the most simplistic pay tables of all VP games in that any quad pays 400 coins. Be it aces or lowly fives and sixes, you are in for a 400-coin pay.

Also, known as More for Four, the paytable below shows an 8/5 version, however you may find an even more profitable paytable of 8/6 giving 30 coins for the flush hand in areas of Nevada.

The table below illustrates the payout for specific winning hands, one coin return payout and maximum coin return payout.

Pays – Bonus Deluxe 8/5 one-coin return max. coin return
Pair--Jacks or Better returns the bet 5 coins
Two pair (2 PR) returns the bet 5 coins
Three-of-a-kind (3/kind) pays 3-1 15 coins
Straight (ST) (sequence, not same suit) pays 4-1 20 coins
Flush (FL) (non-sequential, same suit) pays 5-1 25 coins
Full house (FH) (3 of a kind and a pair) pays 8-1 40 coins
Four-of-a-kind ( any quad) pays 80-1 400 coins
Straight flush (SF) (in sequence, same suit) pays 50-1 250 coins
Royal flush (RF) (except with max. coins) pays 250-1 4000 coins

The average return for 8/6 Bonus Deluxe is 98.5%

This percentage is maintained with maximum coins per hand at a ‘full-pay’ machine with perfect strategy.

Strategy: It’s easy: be on the alert for developing quads in this simple VP game.

- Although, not conventional strategy, with a full-house pay of 40 coins, it can be argued to take the risk of holding a paying pair (Jacks+) of the two pair dealt. The worst scenario is a bet return.

- However, two non-paying pairs (both less than Jacks+) must be held for the sure payout.

Wager Management Tips: Always play maximum coins, and make sure they register.

Practice frequent cash-outs. Don't play back those credits as you know how fast they can disappear.

If you can’t afford to play 5 quarters, play 5 coins on a nickel VP version where a royal flush will pay $200.

That same royal flush with only one quarter in play will get you only $62.50 (250 credits) on quarters VP, therefore, an easy decision here.

Any novice VP player or players with limited bankrolls should play the nickel machines for practice as it involves only a small bankroll.

Playing Tips: With basic strategy, small wins can keep you playing within your wager management plan while leading up to that royal flush jackpot.

Keep an eye on that screen for lit payouts or win announcements.

I find that new players do not always notice that they have a winning hand right in front of their nose.

One feature that VP has in common with slots is the RNG, random number generator that constantly deals poker hands at random from a 52-card deck.

Until we meet again to continue your VP education, may all your VP choices turn out to be ‘royalty’.
