Jackpot Stud Game Features
Our Jackpot Stud Poker Game features the following:
1. The game is played with one 52-card deck. Jackpot Stud Poker is played with one 52-card deck, shuffled after each round.
3. The Dealer must have at least an Ace and King.
4. For the progressive jackpot, side bets can be made.

How To Play
In Jackpot Stud Poker, the object of the game is to get a better 5 card poker hand than the Dealer. Only the first of the Dealer’s cards are shown face up, but all of the Player’s cards are. There is also the option to place a side bet on the progressive jackpot.

Wagering
You need to place a wager before the cards are dealt. Your account settings determine your available minimum and maximum bets. You can change your account settings by choosing the Min/Max button on the game screen or by choosing the ‘Options’ tab on the toolbar and changing the bet level.

When you’re ready to place a wager, just choose the chip value that you want in the bottom right –hand side of the screen and click the circle called ‘Ante’ on the table (also known as the bet marker). You can wager on up to 3 positions because Jackpot Stud is a multi-hand game.

Side Bet - Progressive Jackpot
Simply click on the coin slot above the ‘Ante’ bet marker to place a bet on the progressive jackpot. A side bet costs you one unit of whatever betting currency you’re using.

Beginning Play
When you have placed your wager, just click the ‘Deal’ button – you’ll get 5 cards face up for each betting position you’ve chosen. The Dealer will also get 5 cards, the first card face up and the other 4 face down.

Raise or Fold
After all the cards have been dealt, you need to decide to either raise or fold. When you fold, the hand is then over and you lose the ante.

If you decide to raise, then 2x your ante amount is put in the bet marker, and the Dealer’s cards are revealed and the hands are compared. If the Dealer doesn’t have at least an Ace and a King, then the ante bets pay even and all raise bets become a push. If the dealer does qualify by having an Ace and a King, then each player’s hand is then compared to the Dealer’s, anticlockwise (as viewed from the dealer’s perspective) and the best poker hand wins according to the rules below: a. If the dealer has the better hand, the player loses both ante and raise.
b. Both ante and rise are a push if both hands are equal.
c. If the Player has the best hand, then the ante pays even money and the raise pays out in accordance with the active pay table.

Payouts
The ante is returned and the call bet is paid out if you have a winning hand:
