   Newer Slots: Part 3
Let's explore the newer creations from the slot designers. We will take a peek at 8 slot designers in this 3 Part Article.

Atronic, IGT and A.C.Coin are highlighted in this article.

Atronic America:
E-Motion is the name of this slot mfg. series that include Cash Fever progressives that link four other games to one bonus round.

You will want to use max coin play here to reach the free spin bonus round that awards higher credit totals and as the 'Fever' thermometer rises, you are taken to the next jackpot level.

Other Cash Fever links include Treasures of Venice and Time for Money.

Venice has two screens and the top monitor scene changes from day and night. Rialto Bridge symbols may advance the player to a third screen for a selection of Venice souvenirs awarding additional credits.

Time for Money presents a choice of 19th century and the 29th century. Your choice then proceeds to a theme of the Victoria era or a Future-Forward theme.

And…more progressives: Towerline slots such as Spirit Magic and Zodiac Magic feature a bonus round that links multi-site progressives to a common jackpot.

Penny Parade: shown in an array of neon colors and lots of confetti offers jackpots resetting at $50,000 include Running Numbers, Ghost Hunter, Mystery Mask and Deep Blue Dollar$.

Deal or No Deal: is based on a TV game show popular internationally and features Atronic's Win Two Ways option in which an extra per line wager triggers right to left payoffs as well as left to right increasing hit frequency and doubling the scatter pays.

Angels and Devils is another entry utilizing the Win Two Ways feature.
This slot manufacturer is very well known in Europe, but they sure have made a splash across the pond as well.

As expected, IGT has the most to offer with 175 new games. Some highlights are Elizabeth Taylor: Dazzling Diamonds that dispenses fine jewelry in addition to cash, Back to the Future and Dragnet with Jack Webb.
Drew Carey’s Big Ball of Cash offers a bonus game with the loveable comedian as your host.

Other brand names include Laverne & Shirley with a Shotz Beer bonus, Viva Las Vegas offering three bonus games of Dance Contest, Big Date or Race Day plus a penny entry of Gilligan’s Island.

Max Action lives up to its name featuring an extra row of symbols and a multiplier that can max your win by 5X.

More penny offerings include Hoot Loot an entertaining 20-line game with a bonus multipliers and a top jackpot of 400,000.

Penny Barn is a five reel, 9-line spinner featuring wild symbols that double any winning combo along with free spins that double your credits.

Top boxes seem to be the norm now. Four IGT examples are Pinball, a Double Diamond base game with an arcade style game of pinball and Bits and Pizzas--a pizza parlor theme. Number three is Reel Touch with a giant color screen monitor and lastly, a new version of the Munsters.

One of IGT’s strengths is their progressives, especially the ultra popular Wheel of Fortune.

Now, there is Wheel of Fortune Super Spin, a giant horizontal wheel in the middle of a circular bank of slots for nine players and a five reel, nine-line reel spinning Wheel where you can bet three coins per line for 27 coin max play.

Additionally, there is a four reel, three-coin version of Jeopardy! with three separate bonus features and Loot 66 shows off several levels of progressive wins while taking you on a cross-country ride along Route 66.

A couple of ‘blasts from the past’ are in the new line-up. Haywire, the popular reel slot now has a fourth bonus reel while Elephant King and Hundred Times Pay increase the multiplier wins. Hundred Times Pay with two wild symbols equals 1000X bonus.

A.C. Coin: is IGT’s exclusive distributor in AC and Caribbean

Going with a winner--Slotto, A.C. Coin introduced several variations of their lottery-style sphere game, one of which is Triple Stars Slotto, a 5 line, 5-coin reel spinner with multiple combos. Line up three bonus symbols and watch the Slotto balls bounce around until the chamber drop announces the winning credits of up to 1000 coins.

More Slotto games coming your way are Big Game Show Bonus and Big Spin Slotto.

Big Game presents squares on the bonus board marked with credits and/or bonus balls that are bouncing around the Slotto chamber awaiting capture for extra coin. There’s an additional reward for three devils in a row with this version. Big Spin Slotto combines a bonus wheel with the Slotto sphere into a money-spinning bonus event. The slotto balls dance around in a chamber in the center of the top box to determine the bonus value while the wheel around the chamber then spins for up to a 10X bonus multiplier.

I guarantee that you will love Campin’ Buddies. In the bonus round, the animated characters’ bellies show a bonus amount and then proceed to move up and down to the tune of Dueling Banjos until one stops in the up position to reveal the player’s bonus. Too funny.

More innovative animation can be found via Merlin’s Magic with a top box that talks to the players as they pick the bonus out of a caldron. The talk continues with Pirates of Bonus Island featuring a Jolly Roger skull that chatters on to passing players over a scrolling treasure map. Once you arrive at the bonus round, the treasure map begins moving, stopping at arrows on the glass for bonus amounts and multipliers.

Another version of Bewitched is The Nosy Neighbor featuring Abner and Gladys Kravitz, the neighbors. The bonus round has Samantha flying up the top box, stopping at an image of Gladys to announce the player’s bonus.

I remember reviewing the slot Empire and now there is a sequel--King Kong. As with the original, the top box is a view of the Empire State Building with a mini King Kong climbing up the face of the building. Your reward comes when he reaches the top--floor by floor--but now there are additional rewards from a fourth reel and an instant bonus that will send the big gorilla right to the top.
