Action: Craps provides the most action and excitement in the casino. Throughout its history, there have been many descriptive betting and rhyming terms created around the game.
This glossary is divided into two sections. Part 1 in alpha order are basic terms relating to the game of craps—betting choices, rules and action at the craps table.
Part 2 follows with craps lingo—expressions that will add fun and ‘smarts’ to the game.
To understand how to play craps, you have to start with the two dice in play.
Each cube has six sides, with one to six dots each. Let’s run through the numbers:
2-3-12 are craps - losers. 7-11 – ‘natural’=winners.
Point Numbers are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 & 10 and these points, must be repeated before a 7 is rolled. Let’s begin.
