There is a fundamental difference to the casino-style pokers played against the dealer, rather than a table of players competing for a common pot, which means issues of strategy are rather different from the norm. When it’s the casino’s dealer who is the player’s sole opponent, the bluffing techniques normally employed in Poker to manipulate your opponents’ expectations are not relevant. In general, with these casino versions of various Poker games the dealer’s decisions to fold or play, and the way they construct their hands are bound by house rules, which can simplify strategy as the player has a clearer idea of what their opponent will do in a given situation – the casino dealers’ aren’t in the business of bluffing!
