Since I have neither an unlimited government expense account, exquisite Saville Row tailoring nor devilish good looks to rely on, my fantasies of cutting a James Bond-esque figure at the real-world Baccarat table of a dead posh casino are as likely as, well, John Prescott winning a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics (see post below).
Thankfully the world of online casino gaming has let me fulfill some of my Bond whimsy with its virtual Baccarat tables, where I can happily play Mr. B’s preferred table game without the management escorting me out for actually playing at my PC wearing nothing more than my Y-fronts and a Sean Connery wig. And now, with the imminent release of the 21 st Bond film, Casino Royale, I’ve found this is available to add that extra buzz to my pseudo secret agent outings online!
For £49.99 I can put two of 007’s Aston Martins in my garage with Carrera’s Casino Royale Racing Set, allowing me to pull up in style in front of my PC (no, I don’t get out much) before venturing into my favourite online casino to shuffle the shoe around the baize. Excellent. Now all I have to do is sort out the perfect Vodka Martini and a mysterious femme fatale to drape herself over me while I ponder whether to bet Player, Banker or Tie.
